Safety issue

We are having difficulty with students walking over after the busses/parents drop them off and they are leaving the school area to go to Dunkin Donuts in the hospital.  There are so many cars in the morning in this area as well as the drunk tank being let out in the morning.  As of Monday we will not allow any students to walk over to the hospital without an adult to get Dunkin Donuts. If a parent wants their child to have Dunkin for breakfast (6:45-7:30 a.m.) during morning care, we ask parents to go and pick up their child's drink and breakfast item and the students can eat during morning care.  Students will no longer be able to leave the school once they arrive and they will not be able to drink their refresher or hot chocolate etc. during the school day. Students may bring a water bottle to fill to keep on their desk during the school day.  Any questions, please feel free to contact the school office.  Unfortunately, this is becoming a safety issue!
